Fees
Our appraisal fees are based on an hourly rate. The client is billed for on-site examination time, research and report writing time, and document preparation time. In addition, any expenses for travel, photography, research or other items related to performing the appraisal are billed to the client. An estimate of the fee for the appraisal is furnished prior to the start of the appraisal.
A contract detailing the scope and type of appraisal to be performed and the fees for the appraisal is signed by both parties prior to the start of the appraisal.
Fees for the brokerage or purchase of fine art are typically based upon a percentage of the sale price. A contract detailing the services to be performed and fees related thereto is signed by both parties prior to the transaction.
